Upgrading Wordpress on Bluehost using Simple Scripts

having to sign a liability disclaimer (in this case, done by clicking a checkbox) before I could upgrade my installation of Wordpress on my website filled me with a sense of foreboding that quickly morphed into a full-blown cry of alarm.
